Frequently Asked Questions

  • Both Integrated Attachment Theory (IAT) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) utilize the power of the subconscious mind to break old survival loops and create long-term somatic security. However, they approach healing through different frameworks:

IAT (Integrated Attachment Theory): Focuses heavily on the present and the future. It provides a practical, goal-oriented roadmap to map out your core attachment wounds, reshape defensive coping mechanisms, and rewrite limiting subconscious beliefs. IAT is tools-focused and includes custom homework to build self-regulation habits in your daily life.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping): Focuses on processing emotional weights where they live: in the physical body. By gently tapping on specific meridian acupressure points, EFT sends an immediate signal of safety to your nervous system's alarm center (the amygdala), allowing you to safely process and release stored past trauma, chronic anxiety, and heavy emotional blocks.

How a hybrid session looks: A standard hybrid session is tailored to your unique goals but typically splits into 10-20 minutes of strategic IAT coaching and 40-50 minutes of deep, somatic EFT processing. text goes here

  • You are always the driver of your healing journey. You are welcome at any time to request a more structured, IAT-focused approach or to dedicate a session entirely to somatic EFT processing. We will continuously adapt our sessions to align with your nervous system’s capacity and real-time needs.

  • My absolute goal is to help you feel safe, witnessed, and completely empowered to become your own healer.

I operate on the somatic principle that "slow is fast." Your nervous system cannot learn safety if it is forced or rushed. We will never dig into any past narrative or emotional layer until your body signals it is completely safe to do so.

Think of our deeper somatic work like walking down a dark, unfamiliar path: you hold the map, and I hold the light. We only go in the direction you choose, at the exact pace you feel comfortable with. If you need to pause, we pause. We work as a unified team to gracefully reshape your inner world.

  • Your Window of Tolerance is the specific neurological zone where you feel safe processing and integrating emotions. Within this window, things might feel intense or uncomfortable, but they remain manageable and integration can occur. If we push past the edges of your window, the nervous system enters survival mode:

Hyper-arousal: Feeling overwhelmed, highly anxious, panic-stricken, or emotionally flooded.

Hypo-arousal: Shifting into defense mechanisms like shutting down, numbness, or dissociation.

Our work stays firmly within your window of safety. If dissociative or protective parts of you arise during a session, we do not bypass them; we gently meet them with curiosity, treating them as safe indicators of your body's boundary markers.

Cancellations, reschedules, or non-arrivals within the 48-hour window will be charged the full session fee.

True emergencies are rare exceptions, and I am always happy to communicate directly via email to navigate sudden life disruptions compassionately.

  • To maintain a highly ethical, safe, and professional therapeutic container, all communication outside of our scheduled sessions is strictly limited to logistics, scheduling, and payments.

While I welcome you to engage with, like, or comment on my public educational videos and social media content, I maintain clear professional boundaries in my practice.

To protect the integrity of your somatic processing space, the energetic focus remains 100% on you, meaning I am unable to accept social invitations or dual personal friendships outside of our coaching relationship.

  • All new client partnerships begin with a complimentary 30-minute Zoom Discovery Call.

This brief call allows us to build initial rapport, explore your history, and ensure we are a safe fit before beginning formal coaching.

Prior to our call, I will email you an intake form and contract.

The client contract must be signed and returned before we begin our official 60-minute sessions.

Official hourly sessions are billed at $100 USD, payable via PayPal or Wise transfer.

  • Because every individual brings a unique personal history, nervous system wiring, and varied childhood experiences (ACEs), there is no single timeline for healing. Somatic rewriting takes continuous repetition over time.

While you will likely notice a marked sense of physical relaxation, groundedness, and nervous system relief by the end of every single session, fully clearing complex core wounds—such as deep-seated beliefs like "I will be abandoned" or "I am unsafe"—is a steady process that occurs over months of dedicated cultivation.

Every core wound can be pictured as a dense forest. Together, we clear the trees one by one. We don’t need to work on every tree because as we work on one, it will topple/ affect the ones around it.

As old subconscious evidence topples, your internal system naturally opens up, shifting your attachment baseline toward true security.

If you have only 1 event you would like to work on that has a clear beginning, middle and end, the typical timeline is 6 to 12 sessions.

Attachment healing is typically not just 1 event, so profound, deep healing while most likely take more time.

  • To ensure your body and mind can deeply integrate the subconscious shifts, please prepare the following for our sessions:

Complete Privacy: A quiet, fully private space where you feel safe expressing raw, authentic emotions without interruption.

Hydration: EFT utilizes the body's electrical pathways. Please drink plenty of water at least one hour before our session and have a glass nearby.

Nervous System Clarity: Please do not attend sessions under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol. These substances desensitize you from your physical body, which interferes with the long-term rewiring effects of EFT.

Prescription Medications: If you take prescribed medications for anxiety or depression, please continue taking them as directed by your physician.

  • Your daily habits outside of our calls are what cement your long-term success. Motivation fades, but neuro-somatic repetition lasts.

Repetition plus emotion is the way to rewire your subconscious mind.

For IAT-focused tracks, homework is a vital component and involves simple, actionable steps, such as applying a specific somatic tool once or twice a week, designed to build clear proof of your internal wins.

Homework is designed to be easily achievable. We must build up “wins” or proof of us doing what we said we would do. These “wins” will add to our own internal baseline of trust.

If you strongly dislike independent homework, simply let me know; we can pivot to an EFT-exclusive track where the deep processing is contained entirely within our live session container.

  • Yes. Both modalities are built on extensive neuroscientific, clinical, and psychological foundations.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an internationally recognized, evidence-based modality backed by over a hundred peer-reviewed clinical studies proving its capacity to drop cortisol levels and clear PTSD symptoms.

Integrated Attachment Theory expands upon the pioneering clinical developmental work of John Bowlby, modernized with cutting-edge subconscious reprogramming tools. It was developed by Thais Gibson.
